Bankstown Steam Locomotive Society
Bankstown Steam Locomotive Society Co-op Limited is a non-profit hobby society formed in 1967. Our members share a common interest in Steam Trains, Traction Engines and Model Engineering.
Over the years we have built up a friendly club with approximately 1100 metres of 5-inch gauge track.
Public running days
Public running days are held on the 2nd Saturday of each month (weather-permitting and subject to Covid-19 restrictions).
We request a $4 donation per ride.
Member work days
On the first Saturday of each month we do work on the track and maintain our locomotives and rolling stock.
There are no rides on work days, but if you are interested in the hobby or finding out more about the club, work days are a great day to drop in.
